#DODA: In response to persistent rainfall over the past two days, authorities in Doda district have taken precautionary measures by temporarily closing all primary schools.
The decision, aimed at safeguarding the well-being of students, underscores the concern for their safety amidst adverse weather conditions.
Authorities said that in far flung areas students have to cross nallahs and rivers in which water flow has been increased and district administration does not want to take any risks so in view of safety of students all schools will remain closed today.
Besides this a general advisory has been issued by District administration appealing the peole not to go close to Rivers and other waterbodies in view of rising water level. District administration have also set up control rooms. People have been asked to contact these control rooms in condition of any emergency.
