#SRINAGAR: Train bookings have officially commenced from Kashmir, marking a historic milestone in the region’s integration with the national railway network.
With the recent completion of key stretches of the #Udhampur–#Srinagar–#Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL), passengers can now reserve train tickets from stations in the Kashmir Valley for various destinations across India.
The Indian Railways’ online and offline booking systems are now operational for these routes, and a surge in interest from both residents and tourists is being reported.
The Vande Bharat Express train between Jammu (SVDK) and Srinagar will operate with the following schedule: departure from SVDK at 8:10 AM, arrival in Srinagar at 11:20 AM, departure from Srinagar at 12:45 PM, and arrival back in SVDK at 3:55 PM. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes.
