#SRINAGAR: Three days Faculty Development programme on “Nurturing Excellence Faculty Mentoring for success” got underway at SKUAST-K.
The programme is organized by SKUAST-K Innovations, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre in collaboration with Technology Business Incubator of Kalinga, Institute of Industrial Technology and Bhubneshwar City Knowledge Incubation Cluster Foundation Orissa.Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-K was the Chief Guest who in his inaugural address highlighted the growth trajectory of Indian Agriculture that transformed it from food deficit to food surplus Country.
He advocated out of box thinking, to make SKUAST-K an Innovation led farm University.02 MoUs were signed during the event:
1. National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources and SKUAST-K for Research collaboration
2. Technology Business Incubator of Kalinga Instutute of Industrial Technology and SKUAST-K’ Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre for Collaboration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.Dr. Gyanendra Mishra, Director NBPGR Karnal; Prof. Rafiq Shardar, Dean Students Welfare, Dr Mritunjay Saur, Dr Namrata Misra, from KIIT, Dr. Azmat Alam Khan OSD to Vice-Chancellor, HODs of SKUAST-K Faculty members, and staff of SKIIE Centre were part of the programme.
