#JAMMU: Airport Director Devender Yadav chaired a high-level meeting with airline representatives and key stakeholders to explore the possibility of launching international #flights from #Jammu.
Discussions focused on potential destinations, including West Asia, Saudi Arabia, the UK and Europe, along with passenger demand, infrastructure, immigration, customs and security requirements.
The proposed initiative aims to boost tourism, trade, pilgrimage travel and international connectivity for Jammu and Kashmir. The existing terminal may also be utilised for international operations after domestic flights shift to the upcoming new terminal.
However, the launch of international services will depend on regulatory approvals and operational feasibility.
