#NH44: In Jammu and Kashmir, the Traffic Police today informed that traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) will remain suspended in the intervening night of June 3 and 4, owing to urgent repair and maintenance which has to be carried out on the strategic national highway between Ramban and Banihal.
NHAI has said that urgent repair/maintenance has to be carried out on the national highway between Ramban and Banihal during the intervening night of 3rd and 4th of June 2024. All types of vehicular movement will remain suspended tonight.
No movement of any kind of vehicle including fresh perishable/livestock will be allowed on the national highway after 6 PM today from Qazigund towards Ramban. Similarly no vehicular movement shall be allowed from Nagrota, Jammu after 5 PM and from Udhampur 6 PM.
The commuters have been advised to avoid journey on NH-44 till the work is completed and ask the Traffic Control Unit for the latest update at 9419993745, 1800-180-7043.
